A wonderful, Art Deco era diamond cluster ring, modeled in platinum, whose circular, open-work face features an eight-pointed star. This low-profile darling is set with a bevy of single-cut diamonds, that surroundthe primary, transitional cutdiamond. This larger, central diamond is bead set into a square seat. The supporting diamonds are bead set into shapely seats that create the tines of the star shape, and also populate the spaces between them. All of these precise, hand-piercedelements are finished with milgrain edges. The ring’s gallery is pierced with a series of simple crescent shapes that allow light to glow-up the ring face. The ring's slender, tapering shank features a flattened, lanceolate, cathedral shoulder; it is finished with a soft knife-edge below the shoulder.
This ring is visually delicate, butit has a significant presence on the hand. We loveitscircular face, its icy, glittering quality, andits star (of course). This would make a lovely, unique engagement ring! Marked Platinum for purity.
